TJ Sargent joined the Office of Strategic Consulting as a policy analyst, bringing with him more than 10 years of experience in student leadership development and student organization advising at UW–Madison. TJ worked first with the social fraternity and sorority community and most recently supported the nearly 1,100 registered student organizations (RSOs) across campus. In these roles, TJ worked with a diverse set of policies, procedures, and case scenarios. Given the broad range of RSOs and their activities, TJ has engaged with policy interpretation, education, and development at the organizational, campus, state, and national levels.
TJ earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Lake Forest College and a master’s degree in college student affairs from Eastern Illinois University. He is currently working on an EdD in student affairs administration and leadership at UW–La Crosse.
