Office of Strategic Consulting

As administrative director, Alyson Pohlman serves on the executive leadership team, ensuring consistency and alignment across strategic goals and internal operations. She partners closely with administrative and communications staff to deliver high-quality services that support the office’s mission. Alyson oversees the office’s financial and HR functions and leads the development of administrative systems, internal processes, and reporting mechanisms. She previously served as the assistant director of consulting operations and as a project and fiscal coordinator in the Office of Strategic Consulting.

Before joining the Office of Strategic Consulting, Alyson was an executive assistant to the president of University of Wisconsin System, where she specialized in high-profile office administration and stakeholder engagement. She holds a master’s degree in biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and has held appointments in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences as a researcher and clinical trial coordinator.
