With over 40 years of experience working in technology, business, and government industries, Kevin Murtha brings a wealth of experience to his role as interim director of strategic initiatives for the Office of Strategic Consulting. Prior to UW–Madison, Kevin was the director of the Project Management Office for the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. In this capacity, he worked on large-scale projects, including the creation and implementation of programs addressing COVID-19 challenges at the state level.
Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Cardinal Stritch University and an associate degree in software development from Western Technical College. He is Scrum Fundamentals Certified and holds a Certificate in Leadership Management from Madison Area Technical College.
