Grace Kilpatrick brings over 10 years of project and program management experience to the role of senior project manager. Prior to UW–Madison, Grace worked in a variety of software industries managing a range of projects and multi-million-dollar programs to deliver custom software solutions. During her time at UW, she has advanced project management culture and professional development by leading workshops and webinars for faculty, staff, and project management professionals through InTouch, Showcase, and Finance@UW events.

As UW–Madison Readiness Project Management Lead, Grace led teams through the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP), overseeing a dozen project managers and hundreds of stakeholders during a complex, large-scale change initiative. She excels at stakeholder engagement and communication, escalation management and resolution, and complex program and portfolio management.

Grace holds a Master of Arts in organizational management—with a specialization in project management—from University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). She also holds two bachelors degrees: one in cultural anthropology from UAGC and one in European humanities from San Diego State University. Grace is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), as well as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I). She also holds the title of Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.
