Kelly Schumann joined the Office of Strategic Consulting as a project and portfolio coordinator with a focus on data management projects. She previously worked with CUNA Mutual Group as a project manager and for Deutsche Bank as director of U.S. mortgage lending operations. Her eight years in that role provided extensive experience in operations management, corporate training, business process improvement, and relationship management. Kelly is also the executive director of a local cultural arts nonprofit, which shares the afro-Brazilian art form, Capoeira, with the Madison area community.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Portuguese, with a minor in environmental studies. She has also completed UW–Madison’s project management certificate course.
