Prior to joining the Office of Strategic Consulting, Jim Martin had previously worked for Quartz Health Insurance as a contract project manager for several IT integration projects. Jim started his career in the U.S. Air Force managing advanced research and development projects; he transitioned to IT project management for the last eight years of his service. He has been a project management consultant for Berbee/CDW, formed his own consulting company, Projectech LLC, and has experience managing enterprise IT projects as part of project management offices for CUNA Mutual Group and Quartz. Jim was also an Air Force ROTC instructor at UW–Madison and was commissioned here.
Jim received his master’s degree in project management from UW–Platteville and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
