Kelly Schumann brings over 13 years of project management experience to her role as project manager. She joined the Office of Strategic Consulting in 2019 with a focus on data management projects.
Previously, Kelly worked with CUNA Mutual Group as a project manager working with credit insurance and other highly regulated financial projects. Kelly spent the first half of her career at Deutsche Bank as director of U.S. mortgage lending operations. She has extensive experience in operations management, corporate training, business process improvement, and relationship management. She is also the executive director of a local cultural arts nonprofit, Madison Capoeira, which shares the afro-Brazilian cultural art form with the Madison area community.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Portuguese, with a minor in Environmental Studies. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. She has also completed UW–Madison’s project management certificate course.
