Position title: Internal Consultant
Lori Scroggs supports the Office of Strategic Consulting by providing expertise in strategic planning and leadership development. Lori started at UW-Madison in March 2014 when she joined the former Office of Quality Improvement as a consultant. She came from Illinois Valley Community College, where she held various leadership positions, including director, dean, vice president, and elected member of the board of trustees. Prior to her position at Illinois Valley Community College, she was a member of the faculty at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where she taught undergraduate leadership studies and coordinated the graduate human service administration program.
Lori earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from Illinois State University and a doctorate in human resource education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has been on the national Board of Examiners for the Malcom Baldrige Performance Excellence Program for over five years and served as a consultant to educational and nonprofit organizations for over 20 years—facilitating strategic planning, process improvement, and curriculum or program development activities.
