Leon Nel joined the Office of Strategic Consulting as a senior project manager, later transitioning into the program manager role. He has over 25 years of project management experience. Prior to coming to UW–Madison, Leon spent 20 years in information technology working as a project manager, a program manager, and a manager of project/program managers. His earlier experience was in a wide array of industries including utilities, steel, dairy, fertilizer, and mining; it also included business process reengineering as a consultant.
Leon has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
